Pilot House Cafe

Website Design

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the design and build of a new website for the Pilot House Cafe. I'd love to support you to create a really characterful website to match the feel of the current menu's and stunning location.

Proposed Services

•Design and build to your specification, only complete when both parties are fully satisfied. •Site optimised for desktop, mobile and tablet. •On-site SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) completed to support appearing in relevant internet searches. •1 year premium hosting (annual costs from year two are paid direct to WIX and are currently set at £108). •A Full handover to cover all aspects of maintaining the site. •One-month full support for questions, amendments and developments. Price also includes the "Anglesey discount" which is free ongoing support for updates.

From Year 2: Hosting (paid direct to WIX) - £108 (inc VAT) per year, as of Jan24 Domain name (paid direct to domain name host) - ~£25 (inc VAT) per year

Proposed Timeline

Proposed Start date: 5th February 2024 Stage 1 – Planning and Content Collection A questionnaire is shared that collects useful information on the goals, purpose and content of the website. Bridge Digital UK will plan a site structure and provide details of content required (text, logo, images, product/service details etc) for each website section. Support can be provided with content Stage 2 – Website Design and Build On receiving the majority of the requested information above, Bridge Digital UK will schedule a two week period to design and build a fully functioning version of the website, optimised for both desktop, tablet and mobile devices. The site will be shared for review and feedback Stage 3 – Amendments We will work together to develop the site based on your feedback until it meets all your expectations and requirements. There is no limit to amendments. Stage 4 – Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and finishing touches At the point of the desktop and mobile site being approved, Bridge Digital UK will add all on-site SEO data, including meta titles, meta descriptions, defining H1-H5 header tags, adding alt text to images and ensuring agreed keywords are present in the site content. Stage 5 – Handover and support The site can now be published and connected to the domain. The process to request Google to Index the website will be performed and a handover video call will be scheduled to ensure you are setup to manage the website moving forward. After this meeting, a one month support term will commence to cover additional amendments. "Anglesey Discount" - I am happy to run the website for you at no additional charge, so if you have updates to the content, you can email through to me and I will make the amendments. I am happy to provide training though if you want to be able to self manage also.

Future Website Support

Bridge Digital UK offers flexible support options to build long-term partnerships.
You may opt for:

  • Pay-as-you-go support, charged at an hourly rate with capped pricing for peace of mind.

  • Pre-agreed blocks of support hours or fixed-term support plans.

Next Steps and Terms

  • If you are ready to proceed, please sign and return this proposal. A 50% deposit invoice will then be issued to confirm the project booking.

  • Cancellation policy:

    • Before the start date: 50% of deposit refunded

    • After the start date: deposit non-refundable

    • If cancelled by Bridge Digital UK at any stage: full deposit refunded + 10%

  • Final balance due on project handover.
